Even though the Blues got off to a solid start into this year's NHL campaign, the squad of coach Davis Payne slowed down in the second week of play as they dropped three straight. Thus, the St Louis Blues will try to bounce back with a victory at home when Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins are in town on Sunday at midnight GMT.

While the Penguins might have come slow out of the gates as they dropped three out of four in the first week of play, Sidney Crosby and company subsequently bounced back with three straight wins. Most importantly, the 2009 Stanley Cup champions from Pennsylvania played solid defense, holding their opponents to 2.2 goals per game. At the other end of the ice, the Penguins were once again led by All-Star Sidney Crosby who recorded 4 goals and 8 points in the first two weeks of play. Taking everything into consideration, Pittsburgh appears to be the undisputed favorite to secure a win in St Louis on Sunday night.
