Even though the Penguins came slow out of the gates, Sidney Crosby and company bounced back with a three game winning streak, beating the New York Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators last week. Looking for their fourth straight win, Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins will travel to Tennessee to play the Nashville Predators on Friday at midnight GMT.
The Predators on the other hand got off to an excellent start into this year's NHL campaign as the squad of coach Barry Trotz posted a 3-0-1 record to start the season. Most importantly, Nashville will have to continue to score on a consistent basis at the offensive end of the ice. After all, the franchise has hardly any go-to-guys and failed to put sufficient pressure on their opponents' defensive lines in the past. Taking the recent performance of both squads into account, the Penguins encounter with the Predators appears to be still anyone's game on Friday night.
