Although the Bruins did not play particularly well early in the season, Boston quietly made its way to the top of the Northeast Division, posting a 21-12-6 record. Hoping to steal one on the road, the Boston Bruins will travel to Pennsylvania where they will meet Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday at 0:30 a.m. GMT.

Up to this point, the Penguins’ key to success has been their ability to play excellent hockey at both ends of the ice. Unlike in recent years, the team around All-Stars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin did not rely solely on its offensive fire power but also managed to shut down opposing teams. In fact, Pittsburgh is the second best defensive team in the entire league as they limited their opponents to just 2.3 goals per contest. Offensively, Sidney Crosby has been one fire once again as he scored 32 goals and 66 points in just 41 regular season appearances. Thus, hockey fans around the world can expect an entertaining game between two of the best teams in the East when the Penguins host the Bruins on Tuesday night.
