Having posted a 26-16-3 record in the first four months of regular season play, the Rangers were able to put themselves in an excellent position entering the second half of the season. Thus, the New York Rangers will host Chris Pronger and the Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden on Monday at midnight GMT.
Leading the Atlantic Division with a 27-11-5 record the Flyers have demonstrated that they are ready to defend their Eastern Conference title in this year’s NHL campaign. Especially their offense has been on fire, scoring no less than 3.4 goals per contest up to this point. Most importantly, Philly does not rely on one or two players to carry them offensively, but distributed the workload evenly among many shoulders. Therefore, the Flyers will confidently enter their encounter with Marian Gaborik and company when they travel to New York on Monday night.
