New Jersey Devils v New York Islanders Live

In fact, New Jersey is the best defensive team in the entire league as they held their opponents to just 2.4 goals per contest. Even though the squad of coach Jacques Lemaire did not play particularly well offensively, the Devils still managed to score down the stretch and to close out contested games. Leading all scores is left wing Zach Parise who scored 30 goals and 65 points in 63 appearances thus far. Taking everything into account, the Devils will definitely enter their encounter with the Isles as everyone's favorites to clinch a victory in Long Island on Sunday night. Ultimately, the Islanders lack the defensive consistency and experience to compete with the veteran squad from New Jersey.
