Although the Bruins had to face various injury problems in 2009-10, the franchise from Massachusetts still managed to make it to the Conference Semifinals before eventually being eliminated by the Philadelphia Flyers. Therefore, Boston is confident to establish themselves in the playoff mix right away and finally make that post-season run Bruins' fans have been waiting for so many years. Thus, the Boston Bruins will try to secure another win on the road when they meet Ilya Kovalchuk and the New Jersey Devils on Saturday at 11 p.m. GMT.

Taking into account that the Devils managed to post the second best record in the Eastern Conference last season, their slow start into this year's NHL campaign is somewhat surprising. After all, the franchise even acquired All-Star forward Ilya Kovalchuk in the off-season in order to become a legitimate Stanley Cup contender in 2010-11. Thus, the Devils are hoping to get back on track when the Bruins are in town on Saturday night.
