Unlike the Canucks, the Canadiens started well into the 2009-10 season as they managed to beat the Maple Leafs on the road. Thus, Henrik and Daniel Sedin can be expected to come highly motivated onto the ice in order to carry Vancouver to a win at General Motors Place on Wednesday at 2 a.m. GMT.

Given the fact that the overhauled Canadiens squad appeared to fit well together thus far, the Canucks’ defense will most likely face a tough challenge versus Montreal. Taking the aforementioned circumstances into consideration, both teams appear to be fairly even and should be able to provide a fairly entertaining hockey game. Even though the experienced Canadiens might have an edge if the outcome of the game comes down to clutch plays, they are also coming off a back-to-back and might not be as physically fit as the Canucks.
