NHL Players Association agree to deal

Watch Live Nhl

The National Hockey League and the Players Association agree to a deal that would allow the league to send teams to play in Europe, and also allow for a World Cup of Hockey in the calendar year of 2111. The league wants to continue promoting its players and teams by playing games in other countries. This was in jeopardy when the two sides could not agree on how the players union was going to use the money gained from it. Rumors are circulating that St. Louis and Detroit will play in Europe next fall while Chicago, Florida and Detroit are likely to play a game or pair of games in Sweden.
