Boston Bruins And Buffalo Sabres Match-up Wrap

The Bruins are seeded sixth and they have won four of six meetings and have a score of 15-11 in the series. Boston won six of the last ten games that they played and four out of five games played on the road. They also have a great goalie right now. Rookie for the Bruins Tuukka Rask has a record of 22-12-5 and then a 4-1-0 against the Buffalo Sabres.

General Manager for the Bruins, Peter Chiarelli said that he wasn't sure where the predictions were going to end up as far as where the series is going to be but that he was sure that it was going to be a good one. He said that the two teams match up well. Bruins center David Krejci scored 12 poiints in the past eleven games while Milan Lucic had four points in four games along with Chara. Michael Ryder who plays Right Wing scored two goals in the final and Dennis Wideman also had five points in as many games.

The Buffalo Sabres are third seeded and they have a great goalie as well. Ryan Miller has a record of 41-18-8 and his GAA was 2.22 with a .929 SVPCT. He was 2-02 against the Bruins. Thomas Vanek took four goals on Saturday's games after returning from an injury and Roy scored four points in half as many games. Ryan Miller's average for the last two games was 2-0-0 with a GAA of 2.00 and a .935 SVPCT. The highest scorer was Derek Roy who plays center, scoring sixty nine points for the Sabres, with Tom Connolly second with sixty five points.
